Spring is here, which means it’s time to start fresh, clean, and get organized! Though it’s not much fun to clean out your refrigerator, it’s something that just has to be done. Here are 3 easy steps to get it fresh and clean:
- Start by taking everything out of your fridge. Give it a good all-over wipe-down to clean up any spills and stickiness–use a paper towel with a multi-purpose cleaning spray, and break out a sponge for any sticky or hardened spills.
- Once the inside of your refrigerator is clean and free from any caked-on messes, go through your food and throw away anything that is expired or rotted. This is much easier to do when everything has been taken out of the fridge!
- Next, it’s time to organize. One easy way to save space is to remove foods and beverages from the boxes and containers they come in (i.e. the cardboard boxes of soda or the cardboard packages that hold yogurt).
We hope these quick tips will help you get your refrigerator cleaner than ever this spring!
